Which Team Wins The World Cup 2010?

There is no doubt that this time around, the World Cup is going to be pretty close. Almost all the teams in the different groups have people capable of creating miracle and taking home the cherished prize, for which people wait throughout a 4-year period. Let us have a look at the possible contenders of the World Cup 2010:

Brazil

The South Americans and 5-times World Champion have the talent alongside players to bring back the Cup to their country. Their defense, surprising, is going pretty well and may turn out to be the difference maker for their team.

Spain

EURO 2008 winners and a team with all the flair, Spain will be looking to add the World Cup to their history. The tournament, which has eluded them, will be eyed by most of the star players in their squad.

England

It was 4 decades ago that they created history, but England has been giving far too many disappointing performances after good starts. This is where their side, which comprises of the best players in the world at all the ends and the presence of an excellent Italian Coach, may turn their faith in South Africa.

Germany

EURO 2008 and World Cup 2002 finalists apart from being World Champions thrice, Germany will be hoping that they go all the way and win the Silverware for their Country.

Argentina

The class of the side, which has produced the likes of Maradona and now has Lionel Messi, cannot be questioned. However, it will be important to see, if they have what it takes to deliver the final blow.

Italy

Ironically, the current World Champions only has been given an outside chance by most experts. However, they have a good side and can repeat their heroics of 2006.

France

After getting so close to winning the title last time around, the European team will be hoping for another fairytale ride. Their journey has been filled with close shaves and they might have even been eliminated. However, things may change for the French side, as they have the talent to make it happen.

Apart from these, Portugal and Netherlands also have a shot at the World Cup 2010. With all that said, it is time that will tell, who will leave South Africa with a huge smile on their face.
